Had my birthday cooking class celebration at maricelโ€™s kitchen last year and it was a great experience! She was so attentive with the planning process. I was able to select what food I wanted to cook off a menu sent to me by the team. She was also very accommodating to the groupโ€™s dietary restrictions. The space itself was gorgeous. The cooking class was so much fun everyone loved the class. The food was even better than we could expect. I would definitely recommend maricelโ€™s kitchen.

I didn't expect a great Filipino Fine Dining in my backyard. I usually expect this type of experience in Manhattan. The staff, host and chef were very friendly. They made sure that all our needs were met and that we had a great night. The decor was classy and very homey. One of the long benches they had reminded me of my uncle's back in his home in Laguna, Philippines. The food was exceptional. Everything was cooked perfectly. They didn't lessen the flavors to cater to the "American" palette. We were really full by the end of the night. This spot is really worth visiting. Go check them out if you're in the neighborhood.

My fiancรฉ took me here to celebrate Valentineโ€™s Day and it was so great. From the service, ambiance to food, the experience was wonderful. Especially given the nature of dining out and service being difficult at other restaurants, we were to pleased that they constantly checked in on us, the chef came out to share recommendations, and even updated us on upcoming experiences. If youโ€™re looking for good food that feels home made, but elevated, definitely come check it out!

We have come to Maricelโ€™s for our big family dinner 3 times now! The food is always yummy and they are able to seat our large party (14). When making our reservation we were able to special order tilapia, pancit, fresh lumpia, and lecheflan from the catering menu (must be more than 4 days in advance). I highly recommend this as it was delicious and so special!!! The lecheflan is rich and creamy, incredibly decadent. Maricel and her husband are always friendly and come greet our table, chit chatting and checking on the food. From the standard menu we get the Classic Filipino brunch tower and the calamansi juice each time and those are our favorites. I highly recommend visiting here!

I had a eureka moment when I discovered Maricelโ€™s Kitchen. I immediately declared, โ€œThis is where weโ€™re celebrating our anniversary!โ€ Cozy and unpretentious, itโ€™s a small business and a true hidden gem. The moment we stepped through the door, we were warmly greeted by Paul, the extraordinary host and husband of the chef, Maricel. When he noticed on OpenTable that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, he graciously seated us at the most romantic table in the house. Shortly after, Megan came by to take our order. As we were deciding, she mentioned they had Benguet coffee. With the freezing weather outside, it felt like the perfect way to begin our meal as we browsed the menu. The Benguet coffee arrived in a French press. This single-origin coffee, grown in the northern region of the Philippines, offered intoxicating notes of chocolate, berries, and nuts. Alongside it came pandesal, classic Filipino bread served with butter. Truly melt-in-your-mouth, the crispy outer layer gives way to a soft, fluffy center when broken open. Heavenly. We decided on the Kamayan Tower, a four-tiered celebration of Filipino cuisine that brings a tasting banquet directly to your table. The top t
